The Pasta Primavera Challenge!

Ok, yeah, I admit it.  It’s been way too long since my last post.  How does life get so busy?  Well, the good news is that I have been productive!  Since my last post I officially joined Cooks Illustrated Magazine as a recipe tester.  Additionally, I applied to become a Field Editor for Taste of Home Magazine (wish me luck).   I’ve reviewed recipes and have been busy learning more about blogging and how to make some improvements on my site.  Let’s see, what else?   Oh yes, photography!  I have been taking pictures, got a DropBox account to save them on, and have been tweaking and learning some new photography skills.  So, although not much in the posting department, a busy few months of getting things up to speed.  Ok, now I don’t feel so guilty.

So, with that said, I was reading my Food Network Magazine last  month, and saw that Ree Drummond (The Pioneer Woman) and Food Network were having a photo contest.  I thought this would be the perfect opportunity for me to jump into things a little more, so I did!  The challenge was to cook her Pasta Primavera recipe  and  use her tips to take a great blog photo.  I took the challenge, made the recipe (which by the way is amazing) and here you have it….the photo that I chose to submit!

 Now on to other projects and challenges!
